About Highlands Remodeling

Sam Hubbard cut his teeth as a veneer plastering apprentice in Boston's north shore while still in high school in the early 90's. A job he loved and hated for a few years. Just before marrying his high school sweetheart in '95, he began apprenticing with a general contractor, working mostly in the neighborhoods near Tufts University and in Cambridge. He stayed there for several years before launching off on his own in the fall of 2002. Since then he has remodeled, repaired and built custom projects in Maine, New Hampshire, the greater Boston area, southwest VA, eastern TN, western North Carolina, and the upstate of South Carolina. He loves his adopted homeland in western North Carolina's. But as a 13th generation native of New England, the craftsmanship and architectural sensibilities of his ancestors are deep in his bones. 

Highlands Remodeling is a full service home remodeling company. The primary focus is kitchen remodels and custom designed closet systems. But we also do bathroom remodels, pantry remodels, garage custom storage solutions, mudrooms and more.

We can work with the homeowner's designer. But we also offer design services.
